The And is a visual diary. It was made as part of an assignment for one of my college courses. It is meant to be printed, so it is meant to be seen differently than my usual material. Excluding the first image which is the front/back cover, and the second image which is meant to be a single page, each of the following images are meant to bee seen as a page-spread of a physical book. The And is meant to be my personal story. But my story is only unique only to those who are not familiar with an emigrant’s story. For that reason, The And is a visual diary about displacement. About leaving your home in the search for something better, but finding the same everywhere you go. The And is about realizing that there is no such thing as a happy ending, or any ending at all.
Love it!
